April 18, 2008 – 4:12 pmIf you are searching for accommodation in Croatia, here are some things I found out. Croatia offers you many private apartments to rent for a day, a week or even a month. Of course Croatia hotels are also available, but finding a private place to stay is the most popular. The cheapest place you can find is around 30 EUR, the most expensive cost over 90 EUR. What I did was to book all accommodation in Croatia before we left for our trip. In my opinion that was a very wise decision.
So we didn’t waste time trying to find a place to sleep plus we were sure that we booked nice places at good prices. Especially in low season you can choose freely from all places you find, every place we wrote to, had a room available in May. If you are German or Austrian or from any country where a lot of Croatian people live, try to find a place which is rented by people who live in your country or have a bank account in your country.
